The warm weather season has once again arrived in West Michigan :-) That always means that certain places are once again open for business. Places which each offer their own forms of fun. Or at least we think so. ;->

The one we like, is in Montague, Michigan.
You can stay in your car and have curb side service,
or you can have table side service at one of the picnic tables
along the canal.
It is open each summer from April thru September.

You can sit in the bleachers or take a blanket
and sit on the grass along the canal.

We do recommend you take mosquito repellent.
As well as friends with good senses of humor,
so you can have enjoyable fun via commenting on the passing boats. ;-p

Part of it is a camp ground. A NICE camp ground!
Right on Lake Michigan.
One section of their camping area can be reserved for group camping -
set yourselves up Pioneer style in a big 'ole circle.
They have bike trails through the woods. And volleyball courts.
As well as softball, basketball and tennis ones.
But they also have a nice picnic area that you can go to for just a day.
With public bathrooms. Which are good for changing into bathing suits in.
And grills to add your charcoal to, amongst the shaded picnic tables.
And steps down to the beach.
Day pass Hours vary from 8:00 a.m. to 10 p.m. May through September
and Sunrise to Sunset October through April.
