"tidbit" about Chapter 2

The title of Chapter Two (2) in the book, "PRETTY NEAT - the buttoned-up way to get organized and let go of perfection" (which was co-authored by Alicia Rockmore and Sarah Welch, from 'Get Buttoned Up' ), is:
       "ZERO IN ON YOUR PRIORITIES"

Notice that was NOT, "set zero priorities"! Thought it might be best that I make that clear. o;-p

Today's exert comes from page fourteen (14), first part of the last paragraph.
"It seems to be a fact of life today that we put ourselves last on the priority list. There's just too much to do and not enough time to do it, so we're often forced to make hard choices, generally under the pressure of immediate deadlines. Everyone we spoke with juggled anywhere from eight to well over twenty tasks on their dailyish to-do lists (we say dailyish because most people don't make it through their entire list every day). ..."

How many times have you re-written the exact same "to-do" thing on the next day's list, and re-written it, and re-written, until it either finally gets done, or you give in to just ignoring it?
What are some of the techniques you have implemented to help you make your own list actually accomplish-able? Tell us about them! Remember, "The reader who submits the best tip ("organizational tip or short cut") across all participating blogs will also win $250.00."
Or... leave an "organization tip or short-cut" (comment) about something totally different than what today's 'tidbit' is about. We just ask that you PLEASE leave one! o;-p

Reminder: use the "link" in the side bar of our blog, to go back to the original posting which introduced this book and the connected drawings. Then, leave your "organization tip or short-cut" (comment) under that posting. That way it will be counted for our overall number, and they will be sure and find it to consider it in drawing #2. :-)  Thanks!!! ;->
